John J. Mooney 




John J. Mooney is a partner of Bailey, Moore, Glazer, Schaefer & Proto, LLP. For over 40 years he has provided accounting and advisory services to a number of closely-held businesses and non-profit organizations. He has dealt with a wide range of business operations, including: hotel, motel, and luxury resort operations; research and development companies; manufacturers; contractors; wholesale and retail operations, leasing, physicians and other service organizations. His responsibilities include conducting, supervising and reviewing annual audits and examination of the

financial records of clients. He has implemented audit

procedures, analysis and programs specifically designed for

the needs of the client. He is also the firm specialist in 

HUD rental operations and non-profit organizations and hotel  auditing.

Mr. Mooney has extensive planning experience for the financial, business and tax aspects of the

acquisition and disposition of business operations, whether in corporate, partnership, or limited

liability company form. He has also been involved in federal and state estate and gift plans for

clients and regularly handles a variety of client-related tax issues.

Mr. Mooney provides a range of financial advisory services to his clients, including cash flow analysis for budgeting and personal financial planning. He is also regularly involved in negotiating loans and exploring financing alternatives with a variety of financial institutions.

Mr. Mooney received his Bachelors of Science Degree in Accounting from Georgetown University. He is a member of the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. He has served as an officer in many charitable, religious and business organizations.
