Frank R. Proto is a partner of Bailey, Moore, Glazer, Schaefer & Proto, LLP. For more than 33 years, he has been providing accounting, tax and business advisory services to numerous closely-held businesses. He has experience with a wide range of business operations, including: manufacturers; contractors; wholesale and retail operations; automobile dealerships; fast food franchises; medical laboratories; movie exhibition and distribution operations; insurance agencies; physicians and other service operations. His responsibilities include the conducting, supervising and reviewing of annual and interim engagements and examinations of the financial records of clients.

Mr. Proto makes the needs of his clients his top priority. He provides a variety of business services to his clients including operational reviews, strategic business planning and

budgeting; reviews of organizational structure; due diligence audits; and business succession planning.

He also is involved on a regular basis in negotiating loans and exploring financing alternatives for his clients

with various financial institutions.

He has extensive experience involving the acquisitions and dispositions of business operations for

corporations, partnerships, limited liability companies, and sole proprietorships. He also has experience

with a variety of other tax related issues and has represented clients before the Internal Revenue Service and

other state and local regulatory agencies.

Mr. Proto received his Bachelors of Science Degree in Accounting from Providence College. He is a member of the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He is also extremely active in his community and devotes a substantial amount of time to a number of professional and charitable organizations. Frank is the current President of the Wooster Square Reunion Committee. He is also the immediate Past-President, Past-Secretary, an Executive Committee Member and Finance Committee Member of the Providence College Alumni Association, New Haven Chapter; Past-President, Past-Vice President, Past-Treasurer, Former Director and Finance Committee Chair of the Amity Club Inc.; Former Trustee and Finance Committee Chair of the Amity Charitable Trust Fund; Former Treasurer and Trustee of the Greater New Haven Lodge #37 Order of the Sons of Italy; and Former Member of the Finance Committee of the Farms Country Club, Inc. He is also a member of the Connecticut Estate & Tax Planning Council; Derby Historical Society; Home Builders Association of New Haven County, Inc.; the Cheshire Gridiron Club, Inc.; the Knights of Columbus; the Porcini International Club; the Society of St. Andrew Apostle and the Italian-American Historical Society of Greater New Haven.
