Dominic F. Proto is a of counsel to the firm of the firm Bailey, Moore, Glazer, Schaefer & Proto, LLP. He has over 50 years of experience in providing accounting, tax, and advisory services to businesses and high income individuals.
Mr. Proto has extensive experience in retailing, real estate, marketing, insurance, and professional services. He also spends a significant amount of his time on negotiating contracts, tax settlements, business valuations, wealth planning and business planning.
Mr. Proto is committed to his profession and is a member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Connecticut Society of Certified
Public Accountants, where he serves on a number of committees,
and the Connecticut Estate & Tax Planning Council.
He is a Trustee of the Hospital of St. Raphael Foundation, serves on the finance committee of
the hospital, serves as chairman of community committee at the Foundation for their endowment
campaign, member and former officer of the Amity Club of New Haven, former director of Amity
Bank, President of the Woodbridge Business Men’s Association, member of Computer Science
Technical Advisory Board at Southern Connecticut State University.
