David H. Leigh is of counsel to the firm Bailey, Moore, Glazer, Schaefer & Proto, LLP. He has more than 50 years of experience in providing quality accounting and business advisory services to his clients. He has particular expertise in a wide range of industries, including: construction contractors, real estate developers, the hospitality industry, health and other service industries, and manufacturers. He has significant experience in the operation of partnerships, including the complex tax rules which apply to limited partnerships and limited liability companies. Mr. Leigh also has extensive experience in the field of municipal, state and federal government audits. In addition, Mr. Leigh has supervised the audit of private utility companies in many states including

Ohio, Illinois, Pennsylvania, Virginia and North Carolina.

Mr. Leigh provides a variety of business services to his clients in addition to the normal accounting

and tax services. These include reviews of organizational structure, due diligence audits, and

strategic business acquisition planning. He has designed individual programs to satisfy the business

needs of his clients.He has also been involved in many large business acquisitions and dispositions

for a variety of business entities, with particular emphasis on corporations, partnerships, joint

ventures and limited liability companies. He is also active in the exploration of financing alternatives

for his clients and has been involved in the negotiation of financing terms.

Mr. Leigh has extensive experience in a wide range of tax matters, which he combines with the accounting and business needs of his clients in developing both short-term and long-range strategies. He has represented clients before the Internal Revenue Service and other state and local regulatory agencies.

Mr. Leigh received his Degree of Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Bryant University. He is a member of the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants and serves on its’ Peer Review Committee and is a past Chairman of the Real Estate and Construction Committee. He is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the Practice Management section of the American Institute.
